Tile adhesive, also known as cement-based adhesive for tile wall and floor tiles, is a powdery mixture composed of hydraulic cementing materials (cement), mineral aggregates (quartz sand), and organic admixtures (rubber powder, etc.). Water or other liquids are mixed in a certain proportion. It is mainly used for bonding decorative materials such as ceramic tiles, surface tiles, floor tiles, etc., and is widely used in interior and exterior wall, floor, bathroom and other rough building decorative places. Its main features are high bonding strength, water resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, good aging resistance and convenient construction.
According to the actual situation, the cement-based tile glue is divided into three categories:
Type C1: Adhesive strength is suitable for small bricks
Type C2: The bonding strength is stronger than C1, suitable for relatively large bricks (80*80) (heavy mass bricks such as marble require solid glue)
Type C3: The bonding strength is close to C1, suitable for small tiles, and can be used for joint filling (the tile glue can be mixed according to the color of the tiles to directly fill the joints. If it is not used for joint filling, the tile glue must be dried before the joints are filled. deal with)
2. Uses and features:
The construction is convenient, just add water directly, saving construction time and consumption; strong adhesion is 6-8 times that of cement mortar, good anti-aging performance, no falling off, no cracking, no bulging, no worries.
No water seepage, no lack of alkali, good water retention, within a few hours after construction, it can be adjusted at will, thin layer construction less than 3mm has certain water resistance performance.
